bookings
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!
Bookings can be made for food (1hr 45mins) or drinks (45mins), inside (the restaurant) or outside (the terrace).
Please make sure you are booking the right one as if we’re fully booked it may just give the option of a drinks booking or an outside booking and we really don’t want to disappoint you if you wanted to eat or if it’s too cold outside.
And some great news… any booking after 8.15pm gets the table until midnight, so if you want to get stuck into a long session that’s the way to do it!
We allow dogs on the terrace or at the bar only, not in the dining room sadly!
If you have booked but no confirmation email has been received or if you’re having trouble booking please call or email us because if card details are declined when booking the booking will not be made:
0117 907 0934 / info@snobbys.co.uk
Thank you for reading this… enjoy!

Bookings outside - If it rains too ferociously we may have to close the terrace and unfortunately cannot guarantee a replacement table inside, you will not be charged if cancelling a terrace table in bad weather! about us
We are a restaurant/wine bar on Chandos road, Bristol. Casual Italian inspired dining in a relaxed environment serving pasta & small plates. The restaurant was once owned by Keith Floyd which is rather fitting as we put a huge emphasis on wine with a selection so vast that we can hardly contain it!
Snobby’s opened in 2019, shortly before the first lockdown came into play. Our owner Nick Bethell followed his father’s footsteps in the drinks and hospitality industry and strived to open a wine bar from a young age. After ten years in the industry that idea was finally made a reality.
The kitchen is headed up by Giovanni Franco and Rebecca Leonardi, creating a lovely blend of southern Italian and Sicilian influence. Our food is directed by the seasons and sourced either locally to be as fresh as possible or directly from Italy.

OENO-RAMBLINGS
Oeno-Ramblings is a work in progress... a creative and educational meandering journey through the World of wine, written by Nick.
Having been in the wine industry for eleven years now, I feel now is the time to let you into my world as I study for the wine Diploma. I’m going to take you on a journey but instead of boring you first with the viticulture, vinification processes as well as wine business, I’m going to jump straight into Wines of the World. This is the fun and impossibly vast module of the Diploma, The Beast. It’s a 604 page marathon thriller, brimming with facts and figures, of all the sciences combined, of philosophy, geology, geography, art, law, psychology and much more... I’m not going to just regurgitate from the book as that would be quite tedious and drier than zero dosage* for us all, so I’ll give you my take on it, with many tangents, many digressions, and many personal stories on our around the world tour. I’ll introduce you to some Snobby’s favourites as well as quotes, interviews, videos, links, reading lists and much more.
This is something that I’ve only ever done verbally so far. So forgive me for my appalling editing skills, total lack of structure, and inconsistent additions... this is a ramble after all.
*Zero Dosage - no sweet wine introduced before the capping and riddling of a traditional method sparkling wine, leaving minimal sugar left over in the wine after secondary fermentation. Thus the wine is bone dry.
